Summer 2009

We had one English program during the summer of 2009:

     Zakho (We had 11 teachers and 185 registered students in 12 intensive classes, during a period of 6 weeks)

Summer 2008

We had one English program during the summer of 2008:

     Zakho (We had 8 teachers and 188 registered students in 10 intensive classes, during a period of 6 weeks)

Summer 2007

We had one English program during the summer of 2007:

     Zakho (We had 4 teachers and 136 registered students in 7 classes, teaching 7 weeks.)

School Year 2006-2007

We had one English program during the school year of 2006-2007:

     Erbil (We had 3 teachers working for the University of Salahaddin at the Language Center, teaching 12 hours a week)

Summer 2006

We had one English program during the summer of 2006:

     Erbil (We had 3 teachers working for the University of Salahaddin at the Language Center, teaching 12 hours a week)


School Year 2005-2006

We have three English programs during the school year of 2005-2006:

     Dohuk (We have 1 teacher working for the Ministry of Education, teaching 12 hours a week)

     Erbil #1 (We have 2 teachers working for the Ministry of Education, teaching 12 hours a week)

     Erbil #2 (We have 3 teachers working for the University of Salahaddin at the Language Center, teaching 12 hours a week)


Summer 2005

We had three English programs during the summer of 2005:

     Dohuk (We had 5 teachers and 376 registered students in 18 classes)

     Erbil (We had 5 teachers and 378 registered students in 20 classes)


     Zakho (We had 2 teachers and 115 registered students in 7 classes)

Summer 2004

We had two English programs during the summer of 2004:

     Dohuk (We had 7 teachers and 288 registered students in 14 full-time classes)

     Erbil (We had 2 teachers and over 100 students in 6 part-time classes)

Fall 2003

We had one English program during the fall of 2003:

     Dohuk (We had 3 teachers and about 75 students in 4 classes)

Summer 2010

We anticipate having another great summer in 2010, building relationships with Kurds through our English teaching and Kurdish language/culture learning program.  We anticipate having about 200 students and 10-12 teachers.

We're looking forward to continuing our "electives" classes once a week - extracurricular seminars, panel discussions, and game/activity times.  Join us and bring your ideas and expertise!
